Story
I will be going down a zip wire from the “cow” rock on Ilkley moor.
In July 2022, my adrenaline junkie, 81 year old Father did “zip the cow”. As he flew down the zip above us, my Mother shouted “I love you”. Little did we know then that 9 months later, the lady who shouted those words would be in the care of Sue Ryder Manorlands.
Despite my immense fear of heights, I am going to zip the cow to raise funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands. With my Mummy’s voice in my head saying “darling, if you don’t do it, you’ll be disappointed”, my aim is to raise the highest figure ever raised at this event.
The dignity, compassion and care given to my Mummy by Manorlands on her final journey deserves huge recognition and with your help, I really want to achieve my goal.
